"Have you ever thought that maybe, you might be a lesbian?"
"That can't be, impossible."
"What about bisexual?"
"I- no. I don't think so. My 17 years of living I've never experienced any attractions towards a girl, ever. Except, you"
"So you're..Euphoria-sexual?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This book is about love at first sight, exploring the meaning of love, along with your identity and what it takes to be in love, I'm trying my best not to make it cringy.
Marie Sinclair a girl with problems but she tries to hide it. The story is about her being attracted to a girl, but have a hard time accepting it.
Euphoria Smith, the reserved girl in school. She's not the shy type either. She chose to lay low due to having past experiences with bullies, due to her sexuality.
This story, actually carries a meaning for me. I've always been bothered by the stereotypes for homosexual man and women. (Exept fanfics, they're great.) Gay men getting fetishised by women, and lesbians being fetishised by men. With all those unrealistic stereotypes. For example : in a gay book, the bottom will be thin and lanky resembling a women, and the top will be muscular and a hunk, and he's ALWAYS bi. In a lesbian book: a girl will be extremely soft, and too femme. And the other girl will resemble so much like a guy in terms of voice, hair and body physique, plus their personality will be so much like men, it doesn't make any sense and unrealistic. These are heterosexual stereotypes. I'm sick and tired of it. I can never find 1 non stereotypical fic in wattpad. So just trying to make that happen.
I'm only writing this due to boredom..so..yeah.
