"But why in the world do you use teenagers as agents and not adults?"

"Because they never get caught." He went on, "for example. An adult was injured, laying on the road late at night. If they went to an old ladies house to use their phone, she would immediately shut the door. However if a child was hurt, she'd allow them in with open arms and even make them a cup of tea while they waited for help. Get my point?"

I should have been there... I should have saved her..." "You were there with her all night, you did all that you could have." I shake my head. "No, Will, I wasn't." I clear the tears trying to see what his expression was. "I left in the middle of the night... To-meet Logan..." I look at his face. "That still doesn't make it your fault..." I nod. "It does" I start to walk inside when he calls out my name, I whirl around to face him. "Why do you care so much?!" "I'm afraid you're going to hurt yourself!" I smile. "No, I only hurt others" I turn back around to face the door, when he spoke one last time. "Please do something that gives you reason to come out." I thought about that. "Go home, Will." I close the door behind me and proceed to walk up the stairs and return back to my beloved bed. As I lay in my bed, I stare at the ceiling. 'Do something that gives you reason to come out.' "That's how high your pulse is right now," he says as he presses his body further against mine, closing any gap that existed between us. His thumb grazes over my lips, his eyes dark. His hands are off of me abruptly, and he walks away, heading for the stairs. I stare after him, unable to move from my position against the wall. He looks back at me, a coy smirk forming on his face. He says, "I'm dying to find out how high I can make it go." -- **WARNING This story contains heavy use of violence, drug abuse, domestic abuse, sexual content, drug addiction, and illegal activities. "This is such a bad idea. I cannot believe I let you talk me through this!" "Then why are you coming along?" I question Harry, taking a sharp left turn onto the main road and accelerating towards our destination. My GPS shows it to be around a minute away, so I remain on the lookout. "Uh, coz you dragged me downstairs by my pants like a damn bully! And I can't say no to you for some reason." He logics while fidgeting in his seat and shaking his head as I spot the neon pink sign on my left side. "Would you have preferred I dragged you with your willy, Haz?" I speak casually, snickering at the damn thought of it. He gives me his very definitive "what the fuck" look with both his eyebrows erect and rubs his hands all over his face in frustration. I mouth a little sorry to him, holding his ear closest to me instead of my own. He swats my hands away and scoffs at me. "This is not funny, Hope Emily Wilson." He asserts, biting his lower lip in worry. "And, one of us needs to be able to talk the cops out of arresting us when this inevitably goes wrong and that certainly cannot be you." "Sshhhh. Nothing will go wrong. Positive thoughts." I reject his suspicions as I bring my car to a halt behind the building, pulling the handbrake to secure it. "This is so illegal. Criminal. Felonious. You're 16 and driving the car with not even a learner's license in hand. I am 16 and we are at this club we are not even supposed to be at in the first place." I smack my palm over his mouth to keep him from talking anymore. The Red Herring. This club is on my bucket list with Harry for quite some time now and it's time to just tick it out already before he leaves for X-Factor.

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. [previously known as Espionage: double-cross] Thanks for reading :)

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16
