It's 1987, thirty eight years after the train crash that killed the Pevensies. Susan still lives in Finchley, haunted by the losses that she has experienced, both then and later.

Then, out of the blue, she receives an unsigned letter, promising her the information about the crash that she desperately craves. So, she sets off to Camden, starting a chain of events that will finally bring her story to an end.
