A Child of Light, Fire, and Wind

Haco is a child that has been residing in the small village of Condu for over five years, living a life with his dear friends of extreme poverty. Their lives would take a drastic turn after fleeing following a near-death encounter with other members of the village. While on the run, they would encounter a group of bandits known as the Mist Foot forming a resistance against the corruption of the Wolfridge Empire, led by a man with a mysterious magical power. Haco and his friends are soon tasked with clearing out a dungeon to prove their capability. In the dungeon, they uncover an ancient relic that will not only change their lives forever but the very course of history.

In a tale of fantasy, magic, mystery, and much more, Haco and his friends seek to learn the truth of his past, along with how five kids could possibly bring peace to a continent divided by war for generations.

Hey everyone! My name is Troy and I am the author of this tale. There is much to say about this story, but I will only highlight what really needs to be done for this. This tale is inspired by the manga/anime Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic. Its concept is my favorite for any anime, and so I made a D&D character based on one of Magi's main characters, Alibaba. The backstory for Haco was one of the most fun experiences I've had writing anything. So, I decided to flesh it out into a novella. You could say that this is "The Tale of Haco," but there's a lot more to this world than just the character. I hope you enjoy the story! New chapters will be published weekly!
