Her face blushed red, she opened her mouth to speak but she was speechless. Her hands don't move while I wrap mine around hers. "You can speak now." I instantly regret while sounding stupid when that came out.
But no she grins, "We're like the books I read." She mutters.

"Does the main character end up with the girl?" I ask, she nods. "I only read books with happy endings." She confesses, and her breath rasp. I lean closer to her, "why?" she just stares at my lips and back at my eyes.

"Because books with sad endings remind me of me and my life, unfixable."

"Maybe I can help you."

"Why would you do that?"

"Because of this." I whisper.

My lips fall to hers, my breath falls when our lips hit. Everything feels like it's falling. Adele is falling, I'm falling. But our life is at our breaking point.
She shutters a gasp, as my hands trail up her back. We're going way too fast, but again we're falling. There's no time knowing until we hit rock bottom.
