Nina Tonkin has lived in an orphanage all her life. She's 17 and in her final year of schooling, once she graduates she can finally leave the place she dreads so much. 

In a sudden turn of events during Nina's countdown to freedom she finds herself being adopted, right when she was so close to freedom. 

It's all fun and games until she realises who she'll be living with. 

No wonder the woodfords wanted a daughter.
