Lorelai is a struggling college student, worse she recently got scammed. Another title to add is a financially broke person. Not wanting to drop out but also not wanting to go to jail because of her debts, she turns towards surrogacy.
But who would have thought she would meet her child years later. And it's always a plus to meet the handsome and well-off dad as well, not that it matters, right? RIGHT? And it doesn't help that she keeps bumping into him, whether be literally bumping at the snowed-in chalet or by a cafe. This thing has got to stop. Is she just gonna greet and run away or is she gonna stick around for a while?

Sparks burn down castles and love floods fortresses around hurt hearts in this romance story, that tells on how Colin McCrae, hotshot lawyer, and Rachel Hollister, teacher extraordinaire, crossed paths. ... Following the end of "Gilmore girls: A year in the life", this story starts in January 2018. Some characters are my own, those from the original show "Gilmore girls" obviously belong to ASP. I use them for the purpose of this story only. As it is, most of the main characters from the show will only be marginally involved as this story centers around Colin. Also, there will be some explicit, smutty chapters. However, those won't be part of the main story and will be clearly marked. So, if that kind of writing / topic isn't up your alley, you can just ignore those.
The Simpler Life
Rory centric story that takes place mostly in Stars Hollow. Small-town charm and quirk, mixed with starting her life over in a new role as a mother. For me she is not perfect - and I don't expect to make her one. There will be guys we all know and love in this story, and while there'll be some angst, romance and opportunity mixed in - this story is not about this becoming a ROGAN or Literati or any other ship. On that front I'll just leave you guessing where'll she'll end up. Life is a process not a fixed happy-ever-after outcome.
