"I could fell the rain pounding on me as my boots slammed down into the mud. My lungs were screaming from the cold air and it hurt with each breath. But I just needed to push myself a little bit further, and I'd be able to reach out for him. Yes, I'd finally get him. I could end him right now and be done. After all, I warned him I would always put myself first in the end." The Great Collapse struck in 2020, and ushered in humanity's darkest age. No one truly knows what made the first bomb drop, but it triggered a domino of nuclear warfare across the globe. The areas within the immediate blast range were decimated. Those who were in the surrounding areas suffered horrific bodily mutations if they were able to escape death. But a certain percentage of the world's population received genetic mutations from the fallout that enhanced their abilities far beyond a human's natural capabilities. Burke just so happened to be one of those people, and now without any family or friends, survival is the only option left for him.

It's been exactly a hundred years since a nuclear explosion destroyed the entire earth, making it unable to live on it as the radiation would spread and rise quickly, becoming deadly minute by minute, killing half the lives on earth. Some of us got to survive with the help of the government which built an entire city that would protect everyone from the virus that appeared right after the radiation went away. The city was like a fortress, no one could enter and no one could leave...except the people executed who defied the government rules. But who thought that...together they might witness the end of their world?
