Imagine Percy Jackson's early years if Gabe had been harsher to Sally, resulting in her death---that's what this story is about. We follow Percy as he moves into a group home and learns how to adjust to normal life after the terrible things that he has witnessed and experienced.

Percy was abused by his former stepfather, who is now in prison for child abuse. Sometimes he has flashbacks, and panic attacks. But over the years they have left.
