Why was my life turned upside down? Why did he play me? Why did my family throw me away? Why am I not good enough?

     Faced with the fact that she's a nobody and no one wants her, Brooke tries to make a living. She goes to school since it's already paid for, and then goes to work. 

Why does everyone think I'm dumb? How come no one will listen to me? Why do I have to take over for my father? Why am I expected to be perfect?

     Trying to take control of his life, Aiden decides to try and help a struggling girl in his class. Before he helps Brooke, he wants to know about her. He can't find out anything on her though. No address, no family, no friends. The only thing he does know is where she works.

Brooke wants nothings to do with the supposed stuck-up Aiden Matthews. Aiden is determined to help Brooke Carter out. Brooke is a black belt in karate and was abused, needles to say, she doesn't trust easily. So what will happen when Aiden tries to help her and win her trust?

Little does she know that he feels the same way. And it all started when he moved next door.
