A Walk to Your Door

Standing at the window, I look across the road. The rising sun creates an orange halo around the world, waking it up from its slumber. The birds are awake, chirping their way into the day, the cool breeze and the smell of the morning dew fill up the atmosphere. Yet, all I can hear is the emptiness inside the house.

Breathing in the air, I turn back and head towards the kitchen.

Life has lessons for everyone, some learn these lessons when they are young, some when they are old, and some choose not to learn at all. Walking to Your Door is a story about learning how to live through the lessons that life gives you. It is a story about accepting who you are. It is a story about sharing life, and how to let go of the hurtful memories that life gives you through the lessons that it has chosen for you.
