Miyoshi Riyo grew up with Aomine. They were best friends. Her entire family absolutely adored him and probably would've adopted him if they could have. Her four younger siblings looked up to him like he was a superstar. She did too.
Until the Generation of Miracles played their most disrespectful game ever, their third championship game where they ended the match 111-11. That's when Riyo saw the monsters those five truly were. And soon after the match, she called them out on it only to be discarded like trash.
Her friendship with Aomine went up in flames.
