Gun metal and Daisies (Thomas Shelby)
Dorothy Monroe is a petite woman with a heart too big for her chest. She's pure, kind, she looked at the world and determined all the colours of nature were miracles and needed to be remembered. She's loved photography ever since her father brought a camera home and even had a gift with the newly designed lenses ever since she could wrap her small hands around the clunks of metal. Thomas Shelby: gangster; and war hero; he reads the devils script as if it were the morning newspaper - the list will go on. I don't need to say much more, you already know him. The Shelby family, as part of Tommy's expansion plan, bought a large area of the woods on the outskirts of Small Heath, far away from the Birmingham smog, there they built safe houses and kept heavy machinery; maybe even once they kept a large crate of stolen guns, supposedly belonging to the Government. Unbeknownst to Dorothy, who stumbled around the woods (a bulky camera in hand), she had explored the woods many times, taking photos of all the things that shined bright enough, but had never come across the peculiar buildings that held many dangers. That is, of course, until she knocks upon one of the doors, ready to give an earful to whoever had built over this precious patch of land, only to come face to face with one Thomas Shelby. -loosely follows the plot of season 1- *disclaimer* I do not own the Peaky Blinders or any of Steven Knights characters, only the story of Dorothy and her own plot line. Everywhere people would go they would be told stories about an assassin roaming the streets of London under the name Rioney Sicarius. A ghost, a shadow, a demon, waiting for people to offer money in return for killing those who were needed to be killed. The further people went into London, the more stories and facts about the assassin were told. Anyone they would cross in London told them the same; When you make a deal with her... it can be turned around just as quick as the deal was made, making you the victim of the assassin if a better offer was made by a smarter and stronger man. However, Thomas Shelby on the other hand, starts investigating the so dangerous assassin while being in London, discovering that the Assassins' real name is Rioney Gray and that Polly Gray's daughter, Anna Gray, had never existed. Polly had giving up hope and knew deep down that Rioney was dead, lying to Thomas that her 'dead' daughter was called Anna instead of Rioney so that Thomas Shelby would quickly have giving up the investigation, thinking he had found out who she was and thinking he knew that her death was confirmed just by finding the wrong papers of a made-up girl. Soon he finds out that Rioney Gray is a famous singer living in the wealthy part of London, which is her cover for her nightly work. By 'coincidence', Thomas runs into the woman outside of a jazz club on the corner of Mr. Alfie Solomons 'Bakery' and starts a conversation with her. Asking her for her name she replays with Rioney Gray, knowing that this is Polly Gray's daughter.
