Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!

The story was special. The legend was powerful. There were moments or story lines I desperately wished for, and moments that at times seemed small but were so important to discover and delve into. Izuku was being forced into a foster home but little did he know that he was being forced into a living hell. At times, Izuku would sneak out at night and look at the stars and wander around on the streets. One night Izuku had enough and was walking to the edge of the building. Cactus was just a dragonet when she was dragged into the war of SandWing succession. Her family hates her for being crippled, for she had no wings. She was separated her friend, the only dragon she loved, as she was forced to side with Blister's forces. The only thing the poor dragonet had going for her, was that she was an amazing spy. So when her newest mission takes a turn for the worst, Cactus is faced with an easy choice, stay with this dragon's army princess and continue risking her scales? Or to find another way she can use her spy skills to aid her newfound friends? (I apologize in advance...)

In another world and another time, something unthinkable happened--an Angel who guarded the young and innocent fell in love with a king of Vampires. They had to meet in secret, as their love was forbidden by all the laws of their world. All the while, their love grew stronger and stronger... But then, one day, the Angel was found out. She was told that, if she was to stay with her love, she would have to give up her wings. And she happily did--she gave up her wings and left Heaven. It seemed that her joy with her Vampire love would only increase--shortly afterward, she found out she was with child. The two were very happy and were wed soon after. But their joy was short-lived. When the Angel went into labor, she swiftly fell very ill. In a panic, the King offered his blood. But she refused. After their baby, a daughter, was born, the Angel died. What none could have predicted, though, was that the daughter would have an incredible gift. Because Order can only last for so long. Eventually, the powers of Chaos will have their say...
