The Heartbreaker

'Why don't you hate me?' Jack asked as soon as I sat down.

I plonked my leather bag on the table and rummaged around in it for my Spanish book. 'Jesus, Jack, I only just arrived here! The only thing I know about you is your name. Give me a bit of time!'
'I mean' Jack sighed. 'I broke your freinds heart by going out with her at the same time as someone else! Normally people start giving me the evils before they've even sat down.'
I paused in my hunt and frowned. 'You're a jerk, but I want to at least know you before I want to punch your face in.'
He laughed.
'Well' I added, 'If you want me to hate you, all you have to do is ask.'
Jack and Eva are the most unlikely couple ever. Jack has just cheated on Eva's best freind, Jess, and leaves a trail of broken hearts wherever he goes.He isn't the most ideal guy for Eva. But she can't help falling for him- hes cute, funny and gets her sense of humor.
