There's nothing sweeter than the taste of your friend's lips, pressed up against your own. And if they react falsely, ignore it and carry on. Russia's a broke musician, broke on love and money alike. His only wish to be acknowledged.
This short story contains written sex- but this is not a smut story, the author is not that shallow. This is supposed to make the reader feel somber and come away with a new point of view about romance. The only reason I used countryhumans to convey this message is because they are already fleshed out enough, and people will connect with them more, instead of reading a story about two characters you don't even know about. And I think this ship needs to grow up from being a horny mess, and instead into something with emotional value.

America wasn't sure what it was about his boyfriend, but he gave him such a strange feeling. Then again, America wasn't going to bring it up, because the two were together after years of Poland crushing on him. America is downright scared to be around Russia, how is he supposed to ask him out? He can't run away, Poland would either kill him or force him to ask Russia out. All America is trying to do at this point is gain courage and not lose his sanity. Maybe it'll be spite that kills him instead.
