An alternate universe, where there are no mobile phones, Magicians and Kings rule the countries, the mighty King Darham, monarch of the Indian Subcontiment, had promised his daughter's hand to the crown prince of Russia.
After 5 years, the King and Queen of Russia passed away in a terrible accident, and the prince being underage, the crown passed back to the ruthless Xar Voltaire Hitawari.
King Darham, sensing trouble had then withdrawn and cancelled the engagement. The princess Angelina was then then married off to Edwin Sumeragi, the crown prince of Phillipines. A woman who flees when hunted and comes alive when she's caught.
But before all this, the adventure loving teenage Russian prince, Kaiser had already caught a glimpse of the unusual beauty of princess Angelina, and harboured enormous affection for the girl who was supposed to be his bride.
After the engagement being called off, Kaiser was married to Kingsophia, who died a few months after.
This story starts when Kai is determined to get Angelina back, whatever happens.
