My name is Emma. I don't believe in love not since he broke my heart not since my father left and my mother became a drunk, not since my brother committed suicide. I've pushed my friends away I cut all I want is to be alone. I'm bullied and I just want to die already. All I ever wanted was my music, that is until a guy named Alex moves in across the street. Somehow I feel a connection between us and like me music is his escape. I've seen his scars and he's seen mine he's my best friend my only comfort. Until I start to want him.

Rejected at first sight
Beth white doesn't get treated fairly in her pack house, yes she's were wolf but when she turns 17 and gets the chance to find her mate and actually be happy. He rejects her, and she doesn't take it lightly. She runs off to find a new family and a second chance - "Mate." I mutter under my breath "No! no! no!" he complains "Why did I get you as a mate! your nothing but a helpless slave girl." he spits at me "No. You don't know who I am." I tell him "Yes I do your a slave." he bends down to me and crosses his arms "Yeah, sure I may be a slave. but I'm still a living, breathing, human being, I know that may be a surprise to you. but hey you have to live with it for the rest of your life." I wrote this a long time ago, when I was 14/15, a time when self harm was something that seemed to just be everywhere in my life. I apologise to anyone who read this before I put this notice here, but I'm pretty sure in every chapter there is some sort of mention of mental illness/self harm. I know I could just take the story down, but it was one of the first ever stories I wrote that I liked and completed, and although I admit now it's not great, it shows progress. It's only a matter of time before one of them breaks through or breaks the other. - I was 12 the first time I took a hit off a joint at a party, smoked a blunt by myself and bought a bong. I was 13 when I started drinking alcohol for fun. 14 the first time I took ecstasy at a college party I snuck into, the same age I lost my virginity. This was the first time I went to a mental institution because it's also the year I first tried to kill myself. 15 the first time I smoked meth, took a bump of cocaine, shot myself up with heroine. This was the first time I got sent to rehab, it didn't work and I came out worse. I was 16 when I tried to commit three times in the same year, the last time I got my heart to stop for 30 seconds. That year was also the first time I snorted Hydrocodone, getting me started in opiates, I experimented with Xanax and liked it. And I was a month from 17 when I got sober. - "Fuck you." I snap. Hunter is now 16 and has been living in my family for 3 years. It's an understatement to say that we don't get along. Hunter is just angry at the world. He drinks and smokes and swears and fights.
