Kipo and Y/N have known each other since they were born. They were inseparable and did everything together. They grew up in the same burrow together. Y/N did not really know a lot about her infancy or her parents though. She always considered Lio like a father. One morning, when they were 7, Y/N fell into the aqueduct and wound up on the surface where she had to learn how to survive, fight, etc. She found out some disturbing things about herself and some joyous ones. Until she saw the same pink-haired girl she never thought she'd see again and soon fall for.

Shadow appeared to be like every other mute. That is for every other mutes standards. Though no one knew much about mutes that were panthers. After all humans led them to near extinction that it's become rare to find one. Though everyone can agree that Shadow isn't normal. For example instead of black he is a bright blue. No one questions it though if they know what's good for them. Shadow was never one for talking but if he has to say something he uses another language, in public that is. Over the course of his life he picked up bits of other languages. Though he is most fluent in sign language and Italian. Though half of the time barely anyone knows what he's saying. Both to his annoyance and amusement. Though everything changes once word of a certain burrow girl pops up out of the blue. Many secrets that were once buried by a mega. Rise to the surface causing some odd changes to occur. Along with his curiosity to find his parents. Though the truth is much odder and darker than Shadow would hope for.
