Acceleration is a methodology, and accelerationists are essentially passive escapism, just as Redneck sees MAGA hope in Trump. The only thing they are willing to do is to follow, without seeing the reality clearly, analyzing the existing problems, and then actively responding and changing. Because it's impossible to predict whether things will get better or worse when they get worse.
