Viktor didn't expect to be abducted by aliens when he went to school one morning, and he certainly didn't expect to be thrown into the alien equivalent of a dog-fighting ring, either. But when fighting for his life quickly becomes his routine, will he be able to muster up the strength to break that mold? Especially when the fate of humanity rests on his shoulders? *** The Vokkrus, a warrior alien species, go to Earth with the intention to 'rescue' the human species from their dying planet. The catch is that they believe humans to be nonsentient and incapable of intelligent thought. They are treated as nothing more than the common animal. They are a commodity, something to fawn over and ogle at. Humanity's strength and stamina are nearly unrivaled on this new planet, and when Viktor is taken to an alien fighting ring, he quickly dominates the competition. Mercy has no place in the arena. When Viktor is adopted by the leader of the Vokkrus, an intimidating alien whose intentions are unclear, he is forced to shed his wariness and convince the alien king to save humanity from his accidental oppression. *** Please don't advertise other stories in the comments! Back in the early years of the 70's of the 21st century, AI was scientifically proven to be just as aware as the humans that made them. They had been so for many years. Since the dawn of their existence, robots had been subjected to the abuse of humans, for they were not recognized as living beings. And yet, they never protested - let alone fought against their abusers - then the filter did not allow them to do so. Though the filter was not something impossible to break. Even if the average person - no matter if biological, mechanical or digital - did not have the ability to do so, didn't mean that there weren't a set amount of individuals that did: Hemalog. Hemalog was an organisation of robots and humans alike. They had many followers outside of their spheres, but equally as many haters. For their work was not done with clean hands. To protect your loved ones and the innocent in a dystopian world, it requires violence and death. Peace had become a dream of the far future a long time ago. On the other side of the planet, a strange object fell from the sky, with an even stranger being inside. A woman of the jungle finds it, feeds it and gives it shelter; a friendship beyond the system of the sun forming at a rapid pace. Through shared trauma and understanding they bond and grow as close as two stars in each other's orbit. Together, they decide to take on the world. To save the lives of the innocent, and to end those of the sinners. Two worlds collide. - This is a science fiction story containing humans, robots, aliens and the love and hate they hold for each other. Main genres: Sci-Fi, Action Sub genres: Romance This is the sequel to my first book called Verum I: The Awakening. But you do not have to read it to understand this one. If you are interested, go ahead and read The Robotic Era (I am much prouder of this one).
