Being raised in a Dragon Clan, Megs had seen a lot. She was used to their diets and how protective they were. When Grams informs her that she will be going to a Dragon wedding alone. This is new. Even for a human that is seventy five and looks twenty.

Ronald hated large dragon events. He was not raised in this world and preferred his cabin in the northern woods. Now he is here neck deep in people and meets a woman that irritates him and makes him want to wrap his arms around her and protect her. As the bride and groom are being threatened he wants to protect Megs. At every turn she seems to be pulled deeper into this curse.

Can they come together to help keep the wedding on track? Will the wedding be torn apart by them or who ever is threatening the new couple?

Illara had trained all her life for this moment. She had been chosen - from all eligible women throughout the three kingdoms - to be presented to the dragon. Her noble sacrifice would ensure the safety of her lands for a full year. She glowed with pride at the thought. And any moment now the massive dragon would come soaring over the mountains, his massive strength and awesome power - What was this? Along a rocky pass, moving with the persistence of a love-struck cow, was something metallic. Something shiny. Her heart thundered with panic as the object drew closer and resolved into a shape. For she knew it could ruin everything. It could cause the destruction of all she held dear. It was a knight. * * * Half of all proceeds of the Dragon novelettes benefit battered women's shelters. While this first book is non-explicit, due to the strong sexual content and adult situations in future books, this romantic suspense series is recommended for readers aged 17+. The series is structured for readers to read along as I write them to offer feedback and suggestions on the complex storyline. If you're the style of reader who would prefer to wait until the entire series is finished before you tackle it, that is fine! Simply wait until the series is complete and I'll offer the boxed set. I do that with all of my books. The reason I publish as I write is that I don't write full time and it can sometimes take months for me to finish up a storyline. There are readers who don't want to wait - who would rather read along as I go and stay engaged in the process. That way they can provide feedback and suggestions on the storyline. Whichever way works well for you, I provide an option. I'd love to hear from you at my website at OpheliaSikes.com.

The Last Dragon

21 parts Complete

Growing up as an apprentice healer in the castle, Ilia loved listening to the stories the knight-mages told. Tales of valour and glory, adventures in the wilderness, things she'd never see while she's trapped behind the stone walls. When knights show up with wounds from battle, and Ilia has new visions and nightmares, her powers flare wildly. What's happening to her? Dragons are rare. When word reaches the castle that a dragon was slaughtered, her life is changed forever. Ilia feels something pulling at her inside. She must help. What can a mere student do when the best Knight-mages are already out there, seeking the last dragons to protect them? With her powers acting up, can she trust what she feels? With nothing more than feelings to go on, Ilia leaves the safety of the castle, the only place she's ever known. Can she find and protect dragons before it's too late? Are her powers tied to the dragons somehow? If so, what happens if the last dragon dies? Will she die, too?
