Elevated (A Hermitcraft AU)

Grian is one of two Hermits who knows that this is all a lie. He is trying to get himself and his friends out of this lie, but he's grown so accustomed to this way of life that he isn't even sure if he wants to leave. That is until two familiar faces show up and bring back bad memories. Now he knows he has to get everyone out of here as soon as possible.

Scar is trying his best to not go insane. He's been alone with this knowledge that this is all fake for so long that he isn't sure how to handle it now that another knows. He handled it fine last time, but now he's started over and he doesn't know how to communicate his worries to his friend. It doesn't help now that he's hallucinating more and more.

Mumbo is getting weird dreams lately. He remembers explosions and bloodshed and betrayal and silly jokes. He remembers death and war and friends and redstone. He remembers so much. But he doesn't remember where it came from. How does he know all this? How does he know so much, yet so little?

Martyn has a job to do. He doesn't know what it is, he just knows that it concerns this place and it concerns his old friend Grian. After his experience in 3rd Life and Last Life, he isn't used to such a communal lifestyle. It's so peaceful here. He's almost afraid to ruin it, just like he did with everything else.
