Samantha M. Rose, 17 years old, Lake Shore High School, Green Lake, Wisconsin.  She has a few issues with her family, well, one person in particular. But for the most part, she is an average girl with nothing exciting going on in her life. That is, until a strange girl shows up at her grandmother's front door, and her life is forever changed. 

Killian R. Peterson, 19 years old, North Western Technical College, Mountain, Wisconsin. He has a very large family, and it can sometimes be hard to keep track of them all. But then, has has lost a few of his family members before. When he hears that his sister was chased away from home and ended up with some girl named Samantha, he will do anything and everything to get her back.

Can Kat ever go home and lead a normal life after finding out one of the biggest secrets kept from the Human Race? Logan- the typical. he's not always good with girls, never being able to understand their motives, but enjoys being around them. He's not a bad boy or anything, just about the opposite in fact. but, he IS a great friend, and always the one to depend on. Sam- her body image is way below average. even though she seems normal, deep inside, well, not too deep, just about skin-deep, she is way too worried over the things that shouldn't matter, but do anyway in todays society: weight.
