This story shines on the life two siblings, Tyler and Andrea who lost their parents long ago. The cause to their parents' death still remained a mystery to them.
They moved to the city and struggled there for a long time. Fortunately, a good Samaritan found them, welcomed them in his apartment, and catered for them. After some years, the old hag died, and Tyler and Andrea had to sell doughnuts to survive. They decided to never separate from each other, and lived a happy life, even though they lacked a lot of things.
All of the happiness came to an abrupt end, when creatures called Lyraxes attacked their apartment. Lyraxes were mostly brainless creatures who killed Human Beings for no particular reason. They killed every Human Being in the apartment, except for Andrea who was unfortunately transformed into a special kind of Lyrax. Tyler was at the verge of dying, when a teenage boy came to his rescue. He claimed to be a Lyrax Terminator. Lyrax Terminators were supernatural Human Beings who were trained to kill Lyraxes.
Tyler and Andrea learned that their parents were killed by the same creatures.
From then, Tyler and Andrea trained to become Lyrax Terminators to avenge the death of their parents, kill the Lyrax king, and save Humans from Lyraxes.
I should be dead.
At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else?
Like I told the psychos experimenting on me, I've got zero clue how I got my new powers, but I'm sure-as-shit not going to let them turn me into a deadly weapon (or squeeze me into a spangly jumpsuit).
Problem is, I'm not so great at controlling whatever the hell it is I've become...Not to mention I'm on the run from my country for a teensy-weensy act of treason while being chased by a shadowy masked mute who may or may not have superhuman abilities too (but is definitely stupid hot under his off-putting disguise).
I'm only 25 and my career choices have been limited to hero or villain. WTF?!?
