She's gone through her whole life following the rules and doing what she's told, but will it all be worth it in the end? Luz Noceda is the opposite of perfect. She's an outcast who's seen as awkward and weird by her peers, and her only friends are the characters she reads about. It isn't easy being one of the only openly queer kids in her school. All she wants is someone to understand and love her for who she is, but will that ever happen? The two couldn't be more different, but when fate (or the science teacher) brings them together, will they form an unlikely friendship, or maybe something more? --- In this AU they're all humans, and they're also two years older for story purposes. --- You can expect: rivals to lovers but mostly friends to lovers, angst, fluff (eventually), mutual pining, found family, gay panics™️, Luz being oblivious, Amity having a sexuality crisis, etc. All before having a happy ending, don't fret, my child! --- Not intended for children. (Y,N) was a pretty unique kid. Living with his mom and sister, tries his best in school, plays video games, watches shows that are both entertaining and has overarching stories. But he is deeply afraid of what his future holds, and is scared about whether or not he'll ever live up to what needs to be done in order to have a good life. But life decided it would have other plans for him. Plans that (Y,N) couldn't even begin to understand nor believe. This is my first story on Wattpad, so it's definitely not going to be amazing or perfect, but nevertheless, I'm going to enjoy writing this story. The show and its characters don't belong to me, but the reader does.
