While Callum, Rayla, Soren and Corvos go ahead in search of the moon's primary rock that Aaravos had created 3 years ago. This is a spoiler-free summary of Book 1. The plot is basically Callum odes the dark magic spell Finngren requires to save his friends, but there is a price. He loses his memories and gets found by Aaravos. Aaravos then turns him into his apprentice to rule the world with him.
