He finally found the one. The one that he had given up on finding at such an early age, he finally found the person who could complete him. Now he just had to make sure he could keep her safe. He had found her in the worst possible place: right in the middle of a case.
"By the way," his partner pulled him out of his thoughts. He surprised him by giving him a mischievous smirk. "That growl? 10/10 in my book. Very spooky. 9/10 on Rotten Tomatoes for Plot and Suspense. Of course, one point was taken away for doing it near humans, a woman, nonetheless. But, other than that, loved it."
He had to take a deep breath for that. He stopped walking and glared at the man.
"You know," he started. "One of these days you're going to wind up dead because of that mouth."
"From you?"
"Possibly."
"Good," that smirk never left his face. "You have no idea how annoying it is being immortal."
"Can't be worse than being friends with one," he rolled his eyes and continued his walk. As much as he was excited to find his love, he couldn't help but be concerned for the woman. She was a gypsy without a past or a family. And it seemed like there was more than just him looking for her.
But who was it? And why?
Why was she trapped in that glass?
Detective Jim Magnar didn't know the answer to that. But he had a feeling that this was just the start to something much grander than a simple call on the police radio.
It was a destiny trapped in glass. And now he had to figure out where it was leading him.

He saw her that day, the first day she started working for his sick aunt. She was bubbly, vivacious, slightly crazy and stunningly beautiful. She made his aunt laugh and smile, like she hadn't done in years. She saw him that day too. She smiled and waved at him as though pleased to see him. He did nothing. He knew then that she was the innocent destined to lose her life to give him his immortality. The following day he had the windows to his sanctuary tinted so she couldn't see in. He could see out though. For the next six months before his aunt died, he watched her every day. At the funeral he couldn't take his eyes off her sombre figure. At the reading of the will, he scowled outwardly that she was given the gatehouse. Inwardly he smiled the brightest smile knowing she would have to work for him to actually attain it. She had intrigued him from that first smile, he wanted to know this enigma of a woman. Even though he would take her life, he wanted to know her. Honey Combes was there for Rosie Jackson's funeral. She saw Aiden Jackson watching her and could only wonder why. To her he had become known only as the mystery man. The man that never smiled, spent every moment of his life cooped up in a little room but was loved dearly by his now dead aunt. Finding out Rosie had left her a house had astonished Honey. She wasn't too sure about the terms though. She knew she had to accept that she was pretty broke. She also didn't want to keep living with her parents and three younger sisters. It was only six months she had to work for him. Maybe she would uncover the hidden layers of him that had always fascinated her or it could be the worst six months of her life. Little did she know her life was about to be extinguished by the one man that fascinated her. To extend his own life would he take hers?

I couldn't react before Jason was right in front of me, his wolf taking over by the way his eyes turned pitch black. "Mine." he growled out, taking a step closer to me. His hand brushed my cheek, and sparks erupted. Now, most people are ecstatic finding their soul mates, their second halves, whatever you want to call them. They rejoice over the thought of finding their soul mate. Years ago, I probably would have thought that would be how it turned out. A casual meeting, them feeling the sparks and being overwhelmed by the scent. But now I found myself with the one choice I had left. Go to Jason, who would be extra possessive because he was an alpha, and bring danger to the pack for being a wanted wolf, or running, and hopefully never seeing them again. My wolf's heart broke at the thought, but I was left with no choice. So I ran. ... After being the most wanted werewolf in the country, Amy Barlow decides to go into hiding. She chooses a small town on the border of the Silver Crescent Pack Territory - one of the most powerful packs in the nation. At first, changing her name to Kara Thomas and dying her hair blonde seems to be enough to throw people off her trail, but when something happens that is not planned for, her original idea crumbles. Will she be able to stay hidden long enough to not get caught? Or will she fall into the hands of a trap? With her mate close on her tail, how will she ever hide? ... COMPLETED!!!!
