Florence

It is the year 1892 in Sandybreak, a small coastal American town. 25 year-old Esther Edwards has been married for 3 years, and is feeling pressure from her neighbors and family members to have children, but she doesn't think she is ready. Florence Auclair, one year older than Esther, moves into the town alone and the strange, beautiful woman catches Esther's eye- there hasn't been a change in the town for the many years that Esther has lived there. Despite their differences, Esther and Florence begin to become close friends. However, this friendship changes both women and causes Esther to become closer to Florence than she ever was with her husband. They must navigate feeling real love for the first time as well as hiding their love from everyone around them.
