MJ (Nick Fury's daughter) is a SHIELD agent and PeterParker/Spiderman (son of Tony Stark and Pepper) is also a SHEILD agent. After both having grown up in this weird environment they have learned to compete with one another. Specificaly they like to call each other arch-nemisis. 
    
    But as the only teenage agents they are constantly being sent on missions together. But after receiving their biggest assignment yet (in Hawaii) things begin to change.
