"I would do anything to go back and change the way I left things," Severus uttered. Hermione turned towards him, her lips parted slightly as she listened intently. "I regret my actions with every passing moment."
"We can't change the past, Severus. But if you truly wish to make things right..." She moved towards him, her eyes wide and warm as she looked to him.
"Anything." He stated, his palm cupping her warm cheek.
"Help me... Help me, Severus, please, " She begged.
Hermione and Severus have a tumultuous past. When a Marriage Law is announced, they go their separate ways: Hermione to marry Lucius Malfoy, and Severus on official Ministry business.
