Jackie grew up moving between Frankenmouth, Michigan and New York City, as her addict parents could never have stable enough lives to provide it for their daughter. Her next door neighbors, the Kiszkas, were her closest and only friends growing up. As they grew up, the changes that come with the real world, and a potentially successful music career, began to challenge all of them. Jackie's demons and her complicated relationships with the boys, especially Josh and Sam, will teach her more than books ever could. How does one know when a relationship turns into love? How does one know when it turns toxic? And how the hell do you tell the difference?

He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
