Izuku was seven years old when he left his old life behind.
Katsuki was eight years old as he watched, staring in shock as he walked away.

Seven years ago, Izuku was taken away by a man who claimed to be his father, Katsuki as the last person to see the little boy before he disappeared with that man.
Seven years later, Katsuki is left with the guilt of him being the one who let Izuku disappear; his dream of becoming a hero shot down and his hope of seeing Izuku again becoming more like a wish than reality. Seven years later, Izuku has told himself he can never go back to what he once was before his kidnapping; the crimes of his past and the blood on his hands haunting him for the rest of his life.
