Hasel Shaw understands change. After all, her entire life it's change after change. Being expelled from Ilvermorny and shipped off to Hogwarts in her final year of schooling- that was a big change.

Her collision, both literally and figuratively, with Professor Severus Snape, the cruel yet renowned professor, was not the kind of change she wanted. He was brash and harsh, and as much as he believed she was the impudent child, she was convinced that he was in fact that. There were few conversations where they weren't arguing.

But there's something about him. Something in his eyes. Maybe they are more similar than either of them would admit.
