Everything Has Changed
Life is crazy one moment your up on a pedal stool enjoy it and everything it has given you, waking up everyday with a smile on your face but then BAM in an instant it can go horrible everything changes you don't wake up with a smile on your face but with tear stains on your cheeks. You don't have that reason to get up anymore so you just lay there in bed praying that you won't wake up and hoping the world would just stop, but it doesn't it continues and that's what you have to do, continue with your life no matter what happens even though you will continue to wake up with the same tear stained cheeks and the thought of not wanting to wake up at all you still have to get out of bed and face the world with a fake smile.Complete

Fate is a twisted yet beautiful thing. If two people are meant to be together, no force on earth or heavens can ever tear them apart. Thirteen Points of Light
After a night on the town, Sarah wakes up to a miserable hangover. But it's nothing compared to what comes next. After attempting to light a cigarette, she feels that something isn't quite right. Soon she'll discover that everything is very wrong. My entry in the Open Novella Contest III, Feb 2020. April 28. Just got the news that Thirteen Points has made it through the second round. Now I have to finish by May 5th. I'm not as far along as I had hoped at this point, but I'm sure I can make it. May 4th. 12:10 am. Finished. Submitted. Good night. May 20th. Well, 13 Points made the Long List. I have no idea how many original entries there were but about 940 made the first cut. There's 150 on the Long List. Not bad for my first time out. Now we'll wait and see how we fare on the Short List. May 30th. Well, Sarah and company didn't make the Short List. I can't say I'm disappointed though. I deserved a lot more than that." I excuse honestly. "Why do you have to make this so hard?" He groans. "Sorry?" I ask. "You. You're making this difficult." "I didn't mean-" "That right there. Quit being a gentleman. You are making it so hard to hate you right now." "I-" I get cut off by his lips on mine. His hands hold onto either side of my face as he roughly kisses me. I close my eyes and let him lead. He falls into my lap and I wrap my hand around him and hold his hips.Complete
