Finding the secrets to their families kidnappings, vampires honing in on them but not even attempting to kill them. They want them, need them alive. And the reason will bring heartbreak and blood to their door.
But when things take a turn for the worse, Aubrey finds herself on her own just as the final piece has slotted into place. But to move forwards, she has to travel back to the night ten years ago when she found her parents dead, covered in their own blood and later witnessing the death of her younger brother.
She has to look back at her past, bring all the pain to the surface if she is willing to fight for her future, and the future by accepting the past.
But sometimes the sacrifice for the greater good can be the only thing standing in our way.
