The Gods of Bermuda (Beasts of Bermuda story)

The Overseeing God-aka the Overseer-has kept the balance between the three deities of Speed, Power, and Survival. A fourth deity-the God of Death and Chaos- has been sealed away for as long as anyone can remember. Suddenly, without warning, the Overseer vanishes and the balance between the gods crumbles!
The three deities begin to battle for power! Who will become to next Overseeing God? How will that even be decided? On top of that, an evil god has been released and is gathering a following
Who will come out on top?
What happened to the Overseer?
Who will stop the Cursed?
What exactly does that mean for the gods and their followers? We've yet to find out
Followers are massively loyal to their deity. They will hold ceremonies, rituals, and other festivities, follow their deity's laws, and do their best to rise their god to power! Who wouldn't want to be the follower of the Overseeing god?
A heretic has, for some reason or another, not decided to follow any of the 4 deities. Perhaps they don't like any of them, they simply have not made a decision who to pledge to, or somehow for some reason do not believe in the deities. Followers of the main three may try to get a heretic to joint heir faction, but if refused may react violently
A heretic is welcome to try and start their own faction, but it may not be religion based unless they are a Mortal God
The Cursed are those who have been sealed away with or decided to follow the Cursed God of Death, who has just woken up from a sealed slumber. The cursed god has one goal: Domination through death and destruction
Cursed are cruel, violent, and wild. They do not know mercy; if you are not killed by a Cursed, they must have something worse in store for you
What has happened to the Overseeing God?
You've heard strange rumors suddenly popping up about creatures being worshipped as Mortal Gods. What will this mean for the three deities?
There is a creature wandering around that is rumored to be a Cursed...
