Isolation can be devastating. But love...can destroy everything around you. For Persephone, isolation is being kept under the suffocating gaze of her mother, treated like a child and forbidden from interaction with her own kind or the mortal people under her care. Hope for the Underworld
'In a single terrifying moment the heavens roared with a deafening crack of thunder, and the wind howled in a bone-chilling frenzy, as if someone was screaming in agony and unbearable anguish. In response, the earth recoiled in shock; the ground shook violently, jolting her off her feet. As the tremors intensified, a great chasm ripped open, devouring everything in its path and swallowing her in an instant. In a heartbeat, she plummeted into the shadowy abyss, consumed completely by the darkness. Then, the great void closed again, cutting off the sound of her terrified voice, leaving no trace of her presence there...' A retelling of the timeless love story of Hades and Persephone. Though some may argue it wasn't a love story at all... I disagree... Cover by AI Updated twice a week.Complete
