Tommy whirled around. "Fuck you, shouldn't your brother be stalking me at this hour?"
Spectre laughed, grinning underneath his top mask. "We both know that he's more of a bore than usual these days. When I tried to make him go on a spree of light crime, he just looked at me and started ranting about eating the rich."
Tommy chuckled, keeping a careful eye on Spectre, the hero could try to get physical and Tommy wanted to be prepared. "He may be a bitch, but he's right."
Spectre looked at him, gaping. "Why do you want that?"
Tommy grinned. "Because of what you just said, and also this:"
He looked over the block he was on. decently packed, a few people looking up at the two and filming with their phones. Now, this would be something to film.

Tommy, after leaving work is given a book and witnesses a fight between a villain named Mage and two heroes named Anaglyph and Warden. 2 years later, he starts learning magic, with Mage training him to become the new Tome user. Tommy must choose himself if he wishes to become a hero or a villain and chooses to become a vigilante to start off with. But meet a missing hero and his friend, he uncovers secrets about the heroes that he never knew. Tommy can use this to his advantage, hold it over the heroes heads and threaten to release everything. Can Tommy live in a world of superpower and people who've been in the industry longer than he has? With only magic? Words - 80,944 Chapters - 32/?? Note: writing will be all over the place as i'm still trying to stay to a plot line. It'll make zero sense btw. And near the end it starts moving slower since i've kinda lost motivation. A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. Phil didn't have a clue on what could be going on, all he knew was his assistant was getting hurt and he had no idea how to fix it. Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. "You look awful...Come with us, mate." But Tommy didn't want to.
