"To taste forbidden power, is to desolate" Monsters aren't born- they are made. Some of their own accord, some of curses and sometimes they are made against their own conscience. The ever-so prosperous Narnia finds itself growing barren from within as a troubled Just King struggles to find himself in the pieces Jadis had left behind. Even more so when unwanted curses uncloak itself and Edmund loses himself in the madness of Jadis' cruelty yet again. Everything he touches, everything he feels, everything he loves; it all turns cold and hollow. Twisted thoughts and intolerable nightmares haunt him. He finds himself slowly slipping away and into the darkness. He resents the thought of corrupting yet another thing he loves or anyone else, and so he wastes away in his chambers and with the curse slowly killing him from within. Will he go in search of help before it's too late or will he rot away?
