~ I don't own any characters from the Divergent series I only own (Y/N)!!! I will try and make this as gender neutral as possible but forgive me if I slip up and use she/her pronouns for (Y/N)!!! This is my very first story so sorry if it sucks but i'll try to write it the best I can :) Correct me on any spelling/grammar mistakes!!! I don't expect this to be popular since their aren't many Eric simps out there but i'm mostly writing this for myself 🤪 I update very rarely so 😝

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away.
