Ezra's First
Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. Instead he got put on a Scout ship with just one other soul and sent on a five month mission out into deep space. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity. This short story is just over 18,000 words and contains sexual content between two men, so If that's not your cup of tea.. don't read :) This is my first attempt at something like this, so feedback is welcome, though be nice :)Complete

His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024. Don't worry, I did do research about being trans, but if you are a trans person, and there is anything you feel like isn't right or lacking in this story, feel free to let me know! Chevelle Donahue thought going into work would be just like any other boring day at the mall. Sure, there was her annoying co-worker Wicken Sanders, and a promotional visit from teen heartthrob Timber Hudson, to watch and keep her entertained. But who was she kidding? Working retail was lame no matter what happened. A terrorist attack changes everything - an attack from aliens of all things. The patrons are given two options: comply or else. Complying means giving in to a new set of rules and changing her entire life. "Or else" means she has no chance of going home again. She must figure out the truth behind why the aliens are holding everyone hostage.
