It didn't take long for humanity to completely destroy the surface. It also didn't take long for them to build their underground world, but the sudden change of habitat caused several changes in the way humans function. It's hard to say who's human and who's a completely different creature; a consequence of their arrogance. Some developed better sight, others developed a better sense of strength, the list goes on, but one thing is sure. The leaders of the underground are lying. Things need to change. "God made everyone perfect, right? Then why is my existence a sin." Nick is a trans boy who is just trying to be himself. But sadly not everyone excepts him that way. His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024. Chevelle Donahue thought going into work would be just like any other boring day at the mall. Sure, there was her annoying co-worker Wicken Sanders, and a promotional visit from teen heartthrob Timber Hudson, to watch and keep her entertained. But who was she kidding?
