A new English teacher is introduced to an all-boys school that is known for its ancient traditions and high standards. He uses unorthodox methods to reach out to his students, who face enormous pressure from their parents and the school. With Keating's help, students Neil Perry, Todd Anderson, y/n Murphy, and others learn to break out of their shells, pursue their dreams and seize the day.

Y/n Murphy is known to have been quite timid her whole life. She's always had a fear of speaking to others but will speak up for the people she cares about in a given situation. When y/n is allowed into Welton the life she's used to suddenly changes. When she's introduced to a group of boys she feels misplaced at first but one boy catches her eye. The adorable awkward Gerard Pitts. With the help of her new friends and charismatic English teacher, she learns how to open up to others and 'seize the day. But will she be able to come face to face with her feelings or will she keep them hidden forever?
