Dear You, From, Me [COMPLETED & EDITING]
In life, we all have our own roller coaster. It goes up and down and swirls around. We have the greatest moments to never forget and we have our worst memories we try to erase. I wish my life was better than what it became, but the world, isn't a wish granting factory. You get what you get, and you have to deal with it. Like they always say, everything happens for a reason. Have you ever wondered what goes on inside of the mind of a truly broken soul? The mind of a person with severe mental disorders. The one who smiles on the outside but is really dying within. The one that always appears happy. The person that you'd never guess was suffering every single day. Have you ever questioned what could break a person so badly? Have you ever wanted to get inside the mind of that person? This poetry is mine. This is me, opening my damaged mind to be discovered. Hurt Beyond Repair.
Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them. The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered.
