A feared pirate Captain is loved by all of his crew. They trust him, and the Captain trusts them, it's a symbiotic relationship. So, one can imagine his surprise when he finds out his prized treasure has gone missing, stolen by the two most cowardly people in the crew of the Flying Monkey. Stephen and Carmine will be on the run for a long, long time if they plan on escaping the wrath of the Silver Back Captain Bernard. AN: The description will be updated often to go along with the story. This is my first actual story and due to college, updates may be slow. Let me know what you guys think! Betrayal. Revenge. Murder. True Love. Knights. Princesses. Druids. Pirates. Madness. Gays. Magic. Intrigue. What more could you want from this darkly funny take on faerie tales? The old king is murdered. The crown prince is missing. Who in this diverse cast of characters is to blame? Is it the king's reluctant but dutiful wife? Is it the spiteful old queen? Is it the king's illegitimate son? What about the king's suspiciously loyal man-at-arms? Read and find out. Plenty of swashbuckling, magic, sarcasm, and plot twists await in the mythical land of Ulster. Trigger/Content warning: Violence, but primarily fantasy violence. Profanity throughout. Some brief crude humor. Some conversations and circumstances may be emotionally upsetting, primarily to do with parental abuse, as well as dysphoria. A character is stated to be suicidal, suicide is discussed. A character describes post-partum depression.
