June and Stina are sisters. They had a painful past and difficult childhood. Since Stina is 4 years old and June is 6 years old, they have been in the children's home because their parents only raped and abused them. Since then they have wandered from children's home to children's home. Nobody really wanted them, once they were adopted by a man who seems very nice at first but makes the sisters' lives a nightmare. When June is 16 and Stina is 14, a glimmer of hope appears. But the sisters are so traumatized by what they've been through and so scared of men that they see no hope, only fear. Will the sisters' lives change? Who is willing to adopt them and treat them as they deserve?
