So, a kid superhero. Very typical, yeah I know there's a lot these days. You might not know about the universe I live in which is what this story is about. Oh, and yes there's a multiverse. Let me start with this: Family. You love them, no matter how annoying they get. And mine, let's just say it can get a little crazy in the house. Good thing our neighbors don't hear us. And villains. Oh my goodness don't even get me started on my arch nemesis. I'm about to go on a rant so bear with me as you continue. So, without further ado, lets have you learn about who I am. No Superheroes Allowed
Long ago a group of superheroes and villains worked together to prevent an invasion. But they managed to kill more people than they saved. Their destruction caused the perception of those with powers to dramatically shift; to the point of outcast. 50 years later crime has increased to the point where not even the police respond to calls. Few heroes went into hiding to 'play normal'; like my family and I. I live in New Haven City. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention --- Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation. The mayor who has been running the NSA was beginning to take drastic measures. Sending many supers off to another island. Stealing their powers. Forcing others to betray their own kind. The victims of these horrific acts are not taking that lightly. Why not make a team of heroes? A team that doesnt give a shit what the NSA or the Mayor has to say. Superhuman: a story on new found family
As an optimistic person, I've always believed that I am destined for great things. Turns out one of those "great things" would include moving into a house filled with men (or boys, you be the judge) blessed with freakish powers that are beyond human nature.
