Just about everyone knows the classic German folktale (told in their different and respective languages) Rapunzel. Disney has even made a movie on Rapunzel called Tangled. Well, I'm going to put a gory spin on it, along with the baddies being good and vice versa.

At the end of the fairytale "Rapunzel", Rapunzel and her prince return to their kingdom, where they supposedly live happily ever after. But the fate of the witch, Mother Gothel, is not mentioned. This is an alternate ending to the fairytale in which Gothel reappears... and it isn't pretty. I don't own "Rapunzel". And this is not in any way based on the movie Tangled.

Now out of her mother's evil hands Rapunzel lives in her best friend Merida's guest room. Although she has a loving boyfriend (Jack) and great friends (Hiccup, Elsa, Anna Merida) Rapunzel still walks around Burgess afraid. Rapunzel does the only thing to do. Leave. Leave her friends. Leave her loving boyfriend Jack. And Leave Burgess. Knowing that her friends and boyfriend can't come with her because they all have lives in Burgess. Rapunzel goes alone to New York City for a new life. But, what she will fall into in New York City is way worse than anything back at home with the comfort of Jack and her friends. Jack and Rapunzel are now a long distance apart and beleive they can't love each other, but can they?

Varian and the Seven Kingdoms (Varian's Seven Trials) by raccoonfather

This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. One day, they both decide to run away from home and when they do they bump into each other. Many dangers are ahead of them. They discover secrets they never knew before. The main question is, why did the run away.? To find out, you must read. This is a Hiccunzel story. Credit for characters goes to Disney and Dreamworks. Also Hiccup looks like the hiccup from how train your dragon 2.

This is a very old tale of The Brother's Grimm, almost 200 years old, or possibly more. This tale is about a young girl who was born with very, very long hair, who was kidnapped at birth by a wicked, old hag. There are many versions of this tale, such as the King stealing lettuce from the hag's garden, and as a punishment the hag took his newborn daughter. Some involve the hag stealing the baby because of it's beauty and youth. Though many versions of this tale has been told over the years, the plot remains the same. It was about a young girl with long hair who was kidnapped at a young age by an old hag, and then confined in a tower with only one window. This version of the tale involves the hag's past. This is the tale of love, loss, and grief. And of course, a little bit of magic.

How To Tangle Your Dragon by What_If_Universe

Hiccup chose not to kill the Monstrous Nightmare and ended up being branded a traitor and is forced to leave his home. Once away, he still can't seem to escape his home as everyone seems to have heard he betrayed his home but doesn't know how or why and nobody will listen. But his life changes when he comes across a tower and a girl with 70-foot-long blonde hair.
