Ignorance is Better When the Thoughts are Dead

Bryn thinks she found the perfect man, Felix Slack, a modern knight who saved her from a mundane adult life. He knows everything about her and cares about her in ways she doesn't even know. But shortly after their wedding, her mysterious husband disappears up into the mountains, leaving her alone. On the night before his return, Bryn experiences such horrendous pain and torment that she can't tell if it was all real or not. These horrifying nights continue, their aftermath just as daunting and unsettling.
