It's the year 2190, and the world is overrun with transportation systems. Even the rain's acidity level has risen. That's not a problem for the ever changing human race, yet it is for me...

I'm Relda. I'm sixteen, self conscious, a daydreamer, and too emotionally invested in everything.
Oh, and I'm "allergic " to rain. My skin burns with even the tiniest drop of the stuff, and breathing becomes nearly impossible, yet I make it work. (With a stupid looking body suit).

The Humanity Gift , a wish granted by the United Kingdom of America, is my best chance of finding a cure. I must win this or I will surely die.

Of course there's something I hadn't even considered.

Stealing the heart of the Prince.

YES THIS IS BASED ON THE DISNEY MOVIE YES IT FOLLOWS THE STORYLINE VERY SIMILARLY I DO NOT CLAIM ANY RIGHTS TO THE CHARACTERS, LOCATION, STORY, ETC ETC, I'VE WATCHED THE MOVIE, ACTUALLY LIKED IT, BUT THIS IS MY VERSION IF IT WAS WRITTEN AS LIKE AN ACTION-ROMANCE WITH THAT NOTORIOUS STAR-BOY. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SUE ME (or hate me :( ) Wishes are one of the most powerful things about humans. They hold people's deepest desires, deepest thoughts, and most beautiful dreams. But they are also magically powerful, and the King of Rosas knows this. The great sorcerer King Magnifico founded Rosas with the sole purpose of harvesting this power. His people, when they turn 18, give him their wishes in exchange they get to live in a safe, beautiful, and prosperous kingdom completely for free. And once a year, a lucky citizen may have their wish granted, returning back to whole. However giving up a wish is a difficult thing. It's like taking away a part of your soul, leaving behind an empty gap no material object will fill. Asha, a 17 year old girl who has yet to give up her wish, watched as this emptiness consumed her grandfather. He is about to turn 100 years old, which means he has lived almost 82 years with that emptiness that seemed to just grow and grow over the years, but he is a strong man, never giving up on the dream that one year his wish will be granted. Asha, determined to make his wish come true, tries to become the King's apprentice, one of the sure-fire ways a wish could be granted, is to become the one who can grant it. But instead of learning how to grant wishes, Asha learns the dark reason why King Magnifico keeps them. Fearing for her people's wishes, Asha turns away from the King and his ways, doing the forbidden and wished upon a star, only for a boy who's hair glowed like starlight to fall from the sky.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

Hi, guys! I'm Fiona Pearce, currently in the middle of summer before my first year in college. Yes, I managed to snag a spot in New Waulds University. Can you believe that? Well, that's how basically it is. And due to some unfortunate turn of events, with the ever present help of my very own pink unicorn, I'm currently on my way to my favorite cousin's beach resort. I didn't tell him, so don't expect him to be in this story. Sort of. As for him, well, his expertise is making others feel bad about themselves. But he's not all that bad. He can be sweet sometimes. His current location? Not telling. This is the second part of my/our story. As they say, there's really no such thing as goodbye. As for me, I just want some peace and quiet. I'm giving him space for him to realize things. I'm secretly wishing for a teary-eyed reunion-him welcoming me in his arms and we cry for hours. Okay, it'll never happen. And that's why this is happening. A beach. Another riddle to solve. This will be an exciting summer.
